Cola beach is one of Sedgefield’s most popular beaches and offers peaceful respite even during peak holiday seasons. As Cola Beach is a dog-friendly beach, your four legged friend is welcome to accompany you on your walks and visits to the beach. Facilities include a car park and public toilets.
From the car par - at the end of a short walk bordered by indigenous bush - a boardwalk leads down to the sandy shore, and rippling Indian ocean. The view of the beach from the boardwalk is arresting, and a well-placed bench allows one to pause and take in the beauty and expansive view of the coastline at leisure.
Due to the size of its waves, Cola Beach is favoured as a surfing beach and is a popular destination for beach combing, swimming, fishing, kite surfing and windsurfing. Rocks exposed at low tide, invites the exploration of rock pools and intertidal life.
